About & Mission
The Slice of Heaven is a pizza brand rooted in Chicago tradition, serving up deep dish classics with unapologetic flavor. This project was one of the tasks I worked on during my internship with Kevin Craft. I was asked to create a brand for a deep dish pizza place that feels simple, bold, and delicious, with a nostalgic and creative illustration style.
Direction
The direction of this project was to build a brand that feels bold, exclusive, and classic. The colors were inspired by the deep dish pizza itself, the cheese, the red sauce, and the warmth it gives. The font is unique and playful, matching the character of the brand.
The logo was designed by combining a pizza slice with light, creating a symbol that feels bright and iconic. It reflects the idea of deep dish pizza as something special, almost heavenly.
